I was forced to rely on cold calling, and that just wasn’t cutting it for me. My need was for a strategy that would save time and connect me with my potential customers. I started looking for options and that is when I discovered cold email to outreach my potentials buyers.

The traditional way

The traditional way of building a list is by cold calling, or buying lists from companies that provide contact lists for thousands of people. You are forced to buy, and if you don’t buy enough, you are wasting your time. If you buy too many, the list you get will be too full and your messages will be put through the trash. It’s not very efficient and not very effective. But it’s the oldest form of direct mail marketing.

So, what is an alternative to cold calling?

One of the fastest growing trends in direct marketing is email marketing. In addition to being very cost effective, it also works. Now I’m not talking about sending out emails like crazy, but small email lists that are targeted to your niche. By doing this, you are more likely to reach your potential customers.

Email marketing is nothing new. In fact, email has been used effectively for decades as a lead generation tool. However, with the rise of spam and Internet marketers who want instant access to their list, cold email has become a much tougher prospect.

This will allow you to take advantage of the many email marketers that have spent thousands of dollars building up massive lists of email addresses. Once you have their email address, you can start building relationships with them.

The bottom line is that if you are looking to take advantage of email marketing, then you need to invest in building some email lists. A good email list should include not only the names of your target audience, but also their email addresses. You can then use these email addresses to build up a relationship with them.

Once you have developed a relationship with them, it is easier for you to make those sales because you already have a connection.
